
Communications Executive
London | Fixed-Term Contract (to January 2027)
Our client, a leading European Intellectual Property firm, is seeking a talented Communications Executive to join their busy London office on a fixed-term contract until the end of January 2027 (maternity cover). This position requires an ASAP start.

This is a varied and hands-on position, offering exposure across a broad range of marketing and business development activities. Your key role will be in delivering both internal and external communications, supporting brand development, and enhancing engagement across multiple channels.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing the firm’s social intranet, including content creation, events, and membership engagement
Liaising with the firm’s digital agency to coordinate website enhancements and resolve technical issues
Working closely with the PR agency on both proactive and reactive press activity
Delivering external communications across social media platforms
Collaborating with the film agency on video production and supporting the internal film strategy
Overseeing firmwide charity initiatives and managing the Awareness Days calendar, coordinating related campaigns and events
We are looking for an experienced communications professional, ideally with a background in professional services. The successful candidate will be creative, ambitious, highly organised, and proactive, with the drive to take ownership and deliver high-quality work.

Strong written and verbal communication skills

High levels of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring all communications align with the firm’s tone and brand
Desirable skills and experience include:
Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency
Experience with website content management systems
Familiarity with HubSpot and Adobe Creative Cloud (highly advantageous)
Strong social media experience, particularly LinkedIn and Instagram
A good eye for visual design
Experience managing or contributing to a social intranet (advantageous)
